MELD is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our teams. We are recruiting people who are committed to providing high quality services for individuals with substance use issues, who can work effectively as part of a dynamic team and in partnership with statutory services.
Salaries are based on a 35-hour full-time working week, and are pro-rata for Part Time.

East Lothian Recovery Hub Peer Support Worker (35 hours Per Week)
The Post Holder will provide and promote peer support and recovery services to people recovering from their problematic use of alcohol and drugs. This will be achieved by supporting people in the different phases of their recovery from initial engagement with services and the recovery community through to options for education, training, volunteering and employment.

Recovery Workers – Full or Part-Time
You will be expected to provide advice, information and support to individuals who are experiencing difficulties with substance use and related issues. An appropriate qualification (SVQ level 3 or above) in Health and Social Care or equivalent, with at least 1 years’ demonstrable experience of working in a recovery setting with clients who have difficulties with substance use, are essential criteria. Applicants will require an ability to work in a flexible manner and adhere to a recovery focussed approach. A full driving licence and own transport are essential.
